Appliances: All appliances must be emptied including refrigerators and freezers prior to removal, unless otherwise approved. Also, all water and gas lines must be disconnected prior to our arrival as our team members are not allowed to disconnect these items for both your safety and ours.
Parking: Ample parking must be available for the truck. Parking areas and walkways should be clear of snow and ice, as well as other obstructions. Should the customer be concerned about the weight of the truck or container causing damage to their private driveway, please advise us in advance so we can make arrangements with you.
Specialty Items: Removing specialty items can result in additional fees or the need for additional manpower. Please also keep in mind, there may be items we are unable to move or have the option for proper disposal.
Safety: Licensing and liabilities prevent our team members from removing flammable liquids, firearms, explosives, any container filled with gasoline or propane, medical waste, or other hazardous items. Please see our services page for a list of items we are unable to remove from your property.
Cleanliness: Master Junkers has the right to refuse to remove unsanitary items or work in unsanitary or unsafe conditions.
Arrival Time: Time of arrival is approximate. We know your time is important, and do our best to arrive with in 15 mins of your scheduled appointment time. You will also receive a text message alerting you, that your junk removal specialist is on the way.
Weather: Master Junkers will proceed with the removal process during poor weather, unless there are safety concerns.
Kids and Pets: We want to keep your family safe during your junk removal process. We ask that all children and pets are occupied during our visit.
Liability: We reserve the right to decline any service should it pose a liability risk.
Customer Must Be Present: We ask that you are present for the entire junk removal service. If you must leave for any reason an adult 18+ must be present.
Inspection: We will provide a walk through inspection with the customer to assure all requested items have been removed.
Payment and extra info
Payment Method: Payment is due at time of completion of your junk removal service. Large jobs such as estate or whole home clean outs may require a deposit.
Estimates: Master Junkers offers FREE no-obligation estimates to all our customers. We offer same and next day appointments for our estimates. All estimates are based on the information provided by the customer. All estimates are approximate costs. Actual invoice charges will reflect the total items/loads taken and additional specialty fees.
Cancellations: We request 24 hours notice of cancellation. Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 20% of the reserved services or $50, whichever is more.
Damages: By scheduling a pick up, you relinquish any rights or ownership to the items that we pick up, and we (Master Junkers) have all ownership and rights to whatever we pick up and possess. If there is damage to the premises, notify the team members immediately. No damage claims will be honored until the charges for your junk removal services have been paid in full.
